The ABIC Summit has announced AIBC UAE, an event that will run from the 25th to the 26th of May of 2020, and will be held in the emirate of Dubai. This event is planned to take place at the InterContinental Festival Arena in Dubai — one of the most luxurious locations in the middle of the UAE’s financial hub
The world has been striving for an event that takes place in the outside world due to the factors associated with our new ways of living, and as such the AIBC and UAE super-show is planned to bring the best of emerging tech and innovation to a destination that is planned to bring together investors, regulators and innovators to truly create something special.
As to why exactly Dubai was chosen, well, this is due to the central geographical location it has, making it accessible to as wider range of people as possible. This is because it can connect to all larger technology and gaming hubs in the industry, and this progressive UAE emirate gives AIBC the space to truly explore the newest opportunities in this sector and even move beyond the local ambitions. This means that they can bring the East side and the West side to one neutral location.
Furthermore, the business environment that has been created here by the local government itself has initiated a blossoming incubator of innovation as well as emerging technology. This is an idea that is even further encapsulated after they adopted the moniker “Silicon Oasis”.
Dubai-based Fintech and Crypto lawyer Irina Heaver said that she is delighted that AIBC is bringing the worldwide show to Dubai:
“The Leadership of Dubai has been showing its commitment to supporting the Emerging Technologies sector, as well as adopting the Emerging Tech within the Government. Now it is the time to welcome an international Emerging Tech show to Dubai to showcase our talent, our entrepreneurial spirit and our commitment.”
The Founder of AIBC, Eman Pulis, also had a lot of praise for the city: “We always envisioned AIBC as a meeting point of peoples from all over the world. Dubai allows us to encourage the giants from the West and the East to sit, break bread, and sign deals. This is the life and soul of AIBC – creating an environment where connections are made with little to no effort, and everybody returns home with a smile on their face – all while being safe from COVID!”.
Last but not least, we have a quote from the Managing Partner at Accelliance and CEO of Dubai Blockchain Center known as Dr. Marwan Alzarouni, who said the following: “The UAE is open for business. Dubai Blockchain Center continues to play a pivotal role in connecting the blockchain ecosystem both locally and on a global stage. Through numerous events, we aim to ensure that our partners prosper and thrive, through getting people back to being engaged in fruitful events and conferences.”
